Is Shades kid-friendly?
Definitely! We have a kids’ menu, plus a small arcade for a little extra fun.

Can Shades accommodate large parties?
You bet. We love large parties here at Shades. We hope you’ll join us to celebrate your birthday, anniversary or any other celebration you may have.

Can I host a private event at Shades?
You sure can. If you’re interested in hosting a private event at Shades OR having our talented culinary team cater your off-site party, complete the form on our website.

Does Shades take reservations?
Shades operates on beach time, so we seat guests on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not accept reservations or call-ahead additions to the waitlist, but hope you will still join us. If there is a wait, you can enjoy a drink at the bar until your table is ready.

Does Shades have free parking?
Yes, we have a large parking lot, making the arrival process a breeze.

Is Shades dog-friendly?
Absolutely! We LOVE well-behaved dogs around here. Bring ‘em with you and request a table on the patio when you arrive. Service animals are allowed inside, of course.

Does Shades sell gift cards?
Yes! Shades gift cards can be used at any Spell Restaurant Group establishment. They can be purchased online or in store at the host stand and bar. For a complete list of SRG restaurants along 30A and in Memphis, Tennessee, click here. 

Does Shades have gluten-free options?
Yes, Shades has gluten-free items. Your server will be happy to help you navigate the menu if you have dietary restrictions. 

Does Shades have live music?
You bet. We have live music on Wednesdays and live DJ nights on Fridays. Click here for our live music schedule and here for more information on DJ nights. 

How many TVs does Shades have?
With more than 28 TVs and all the premium packages, Shades can accommodate even the biggest sports fan. From football and basketball to UFC and baseball – we show it all! It’s important to note that we don’t charge a cover for UFC fights.
